Melinda is a passionate and easy-going Clinical Psychologist. She has a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons.) and a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Newcastle. Melinda has experience in both public and private mental health settings where she has worked with people across the lifespan experiencing a range of difficulties such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, substance use problems, parenting difficulties, emotional and behavioural challenges in children and adolescents, relationship issues, perinatal mental health problems, eating and body image related concerns and trauma. She also has experience completing psychological assessments for children and adolescents and can provide clinical supervision as an AHPRA board approved supervisor. Melinda takes a collaborative approach to support and empower people through their mental health treatment. She is trained in and utilises several evidence-based psychological therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).​ Melinda’s books are currently open. She sees clients in-person at our Broadmeadow location. She also offers Telehealth for those who would prefer virtual appointments.

Melanie is a Clinical Psychologist with over 19 years of experience working with children, young people and adults who have experienced trauma using a range of therapeutic modalities including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Melanie is also experienced treating people with mood disturbance, anxiety, depression, general stress, anger, and adjustment issues. She is passionate about helping people lead happier and more fulfilling lives. Melanie Graduated from Newcastle University in 2000 with a Masters of Applied Psychology. In 2006 she then went on to complete her Masters in Clinical Psychology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and is passionate about keeping up with the latest research and training in psychology. Melanie is a board approved AHPRA clinical supervisor and can provide professional supervision and endorsement for clinical psychology registrars. She is a trained Circle of Security Program (COSP) facilitator and is an accredited provider of Parent-Child-Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

Dr. Danielle Perks is a highly skilled and dedicated registered Psychologist with 9 years of clinical experience in Australia. She holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology (Hons.) and a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology, completed in the United Kingdom. Danielle pursued her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Bond University on the Gold Coast, focusing on advancing assessment and intervention protocols for youth engaging in problematic behaviors. Danielle is experienced in treating a range of psychological conditions with children and adults, including trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, general life stressors, relationship difficulties, parenting difficulties, anger management, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), disruptive behaviour, and personality disorders. Danielle is experienced in a range of evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Schema Focused Therapy. This allows her to provide comprehensive and individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of her clients. Danielle is known for her empathic and compassionate approach, creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients to understand and overcome their challenges. Danielle is also proficient in conducting various assessments, including cognitive, learning, and behavioural assessments, as well as forensic risk assessments. Her expertise in assessment allows her to provide comprehensive evaluations and recommendations to support her clients' needs. Danielle is available for peer supervision and as a board-certified AHPRA supervisor, she can provide supervision to Psychologists in training.

Dr. Jessica Warren is an experienced psychologist in Newcastle, specialising in treating children, adolescents, and adults with therapeutic interventions for trauma, behavioural issues, and a wide range of mental health challenges. With over 15 years of experience, she began her career in public mental health and disability services, emphasising evidence-based practices. A published author on trauma in very young children, Dr. Warren's Ph.D. research focused on adapting Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for trauma-affected children, leading to her certification as a PCIT therapist and trainer in Australia. As a board-approved supervisor by the Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA), Dr. Warren is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of psychologists and provides expert consultation in trauma and intervention strategies. She has extensive expertise in psychological assessments across a wide range, including cognitive, behavioural, autism, and ADHD evaluations. Dr. Warren is committed to providing personalised therapeutic interventions for individuals of all ages, ensuring a holistic and inclusive approach to mental health care. She is available for appointments, offering after-hours and weekend sessions to accommodate diverse schedules.
